Derek Jeter | PERSON

 

Derek Sanderson Jeter (pronounced /ˈʤitɚ/, born June 26, 1974 in Pequannock Township, New Jersey) is an American Major League Baseball player. Jeter is a nine-time All-Star shortstop, and he is currently the captain of the New York Yankees.
